Pump is not holding pressure?
ㅤ
If your comfort base is not holding pressure you may need to troubleshoot the entire device.
- 1. Check the top of the pump
This will be the male and female connector, typically they may not be fully connected.
- 2. Check for hissing in the black tubing.
You may have cut the silicone hose if you hear any noise. You can also rub a little dish soap on the tubing and check for bubbles.
- 3. May need to trim your pubic hair.
Pubic hair can be very thick for some men and may require you trim it to make suction easier at the base.
- 4. Device may not be properly set up.
Auto devices can have many openings to suck up the air. Check the auto device and ensure it is properly closed at the base and suffers no cracks or holes in the device.

(Example image: Image 1 (%0-%40 Full) Base. After each session as a beginner you may only reach 20-40 percent of the fullness in a tube. This is completely fine as over time you will fill out the tube/
Image 2 %50-%80 Full) being when you may need to consider an upgrade. If pain occurs at base, upgrade. If you fill up the base with a tapered penis under 10 minutes of the session, you can upgrade. (Stage pumping can also be done.)
Image 3 (%80-100% Full) At this stage it will be ideal to mov up to the next size or at least have it on hand. After 50 percent of expansion is reached in the tube, you may or may not have discomfort when pumping. At these higher pressure you may experience it. Please move up or attempt to do staged pumping when you can.
When to upgrade tube?
When you fill the tube about 1/2 to 3/4 of your erect length during your session.
Always allow for 10-15 percent of expansion in a tube. 10 percent is preferred.
To calculate this value. Simply multiply your erect girth by 1.10 - 1.15. See our tube sizes
You can also get our seasonal pump package in order to be ready for the upgrade and get a minor discount when buying early.
See picture below to give you an example.
Ways to prevent discoloration?
Light peels and serums:
Non-peeling, low-concentration chemical exfoliants and gentle daily brighteners are ideal for sensitive intimate zones (such as the outer bikini line, inner thighs, and buttocks). These options target dark spots, friction hyperpigmentation, and ingrown hairs gradually without causing visible skin peeling, downtime, or raw irritation.
- Crucial Safety Precaution: Active acids must never be applied to internal, moisture-producing mucous membranes. Always apply a thick barrier ointment (like plain petroleum jelly) to delicate inner areas before using active products nearby.
Low-Strength Acids for Zero-Downtime Brightening
These gentle concentrations allow for safe home use without triggering active peeling or flaking:
- Mandelic Acid (5% to 10% daily serum / 15% to 20% mild rinse-off):Why it works: Derived from bitter almonds, mandelic acid has a large molecular size that penetrates the skin very slowly. This makes it the safest choice for delicate regions and darker skin tones without the risk of post-inflammatory marks.
- Lactic Acid (5% to 10% leave-on lotion or serum):Why it works: A hydrating Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA). At lower daily strengths, it smooths texture and breaks down superficial dark spots while drawing moisture into the skin barrier rather than drying it out.
- Polyhydroxy Acids / PHAs (3% to 8% Gluconolactone or Lactobionic Acid):Why it works: PHAs are "next-generation" AHAs with very large molecules. They exfoliate strictly on the surface layer, making them virtually sting-free and ideal for skin prone to severe sensitivity or chafing.
- Salicylic Acid / BHA (0.5% to 2% spot treatment or wash):Why it works: Oil-soluble BHA penetrates into pores to clear trapped sebum and prevent ingrown hairs around the bikini line. Keeping concentrations at 2% or lower provides anti-inflammatory benefits without peeling.
- Azelaic Acid (5% to 10% cream or serum):Why it works: A gentle, non-AHA active that directly inhibits melanin-producing enzymes. It reduces friction-based darkening and post-razor redness without peeling or aggressive exfoliation.
Soothing Aftercare & Barrier Lotions
To prevent friction, calm redness, and keep the skin barrier intact after applying mild acids:
- Pure Shea Butter: A rich, plant-based emollient that creates a protective cushion against thigh-friction and clothing rub.
- AEA-Certified Emu Oil or Pure Jojoba Oil: Lightweight, non-comedogenic oils rich in essential fatty acids. They mimic the skin's natural lipids to calm irritation and ease tight skin.
- Ceramide & Colloidal Oatmeal Lotions: Plain, fragrance-free barrier-repair creams (such as those formulated for eczema) that restore moisture without clogging pores or stinging sensitive skin.
- 50/50 Diluted Maintenance Creams: If using an active AHA body lotion, mix equal parts of the active lotion with a basic, fragrance-free moisturizer to buffer the intensity and avoid skin flaking.
Higher acid peels (START WITH 1 SESSION PER MONTH FOR SAFETY)
For those seeking faster results on stubborn hyperpigmentation, uneven skin texture, or deep friction darkening around external intimate areas, progressive chemical peels offer deeper exfoliation. These higher concentrations induce controlled flaking or peeling over 3 to 7 days.
- Crucial Safety Precaution: Never apply medium-strength acids to internal, moisture-producing mucous membranes. Apply a thick protective coating of petroleum jelly to delicate inner areas before application, and always patch test on the inner arm 24 to 48 hours prior to use.
Moderate-Strength Acids & Peels (For Visible Exfoliation)
These concentrations work below the surface layer to lift stubborn discoloration. They should be used only after skin has tolerated lower daily acids.
- Mandelic Acid (25% to 40% Peel):Why it works: The safest medium-strength peel for high-melanin skin and sensitive areas. It targets stubborn discoloration without the sharp burn or high risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation associated with smaller-molecule acids.Expected result: Light flaking or mild dryness over 3 to 5 days.
- Lactic Acid (30% to 50% Peel):Why it works: An ideal step-up AHA for dry or sensitive skin. It breaks down persistent dark spots while maintaining the skin's moisture balance, offering effective resurfacing with minimal discomfort.Expected result: Moderate shedding or small, dandruff-like flaking.
- Glycolic Acid (20% to 30% Peel): Why it works: Glycolic acid has the smallest molecular size of all AHAs, allowing it to penetrate quickly and deeply. It is effective for thick, resilient skin along the outer bikini line or buttocks, but requires careful timing to prevent irritation.Expected result: Noticeable peeling and brief post-peel redness.
- Multi-Acid Blends (e.g., Lactic + Salicylic + Resorcinol / Modified Jessner's): Why it works: Combining multiple low-to-moderate acids allows each ingredient to target different layers of discoloration simultaneously without relying on a dangerously high percentage of a single acid. Expected result: Moderate-to-heavy peeling, starting around day 3 after application.
- Trichloroacetic Acid / TCA (10% to 13% Max):Why it works: TCA works deeper in the epidermis to lift old, ingrained pigmentation. Concentrations above 13% should never be used on intimate skin due to the risk of scarring and hyperpigmentation. Expected result: Pronounced peeling, temporary skin darkening before shedding, and 5 to 7 days of recovery.
Post-Peel Recovery & Protection
When using stronger peels, aftercare focuses on protecting raw skin, reducing inflammation, and preventing friction damage during the peeling process.
- 100% Pure Shea Butter or Petrolatum Ointments: Applied generously to form a heavy protective shield, reducing skin-on-skin friction and preventing premature peeling of dead skin.
- Pure Emu Oil or Rosehip Seed Oil: Rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants, these oils penetrate deeply to speed up tissue recovery, ease stinging, and keep peeling skin flexible.
- Colloidal Oatmeal & Panthenol (Vitamin B5) Balms: Soothing recovery balms designed to relieve itching, calm inflammation, and restore the skin barrier during the healing phase.
- Strict Avoidance Guidelines: Avoid friction (loose clothing is mandatory), do not pick or pull peeling skin, skip active daily lotions until fully healed, and hold off on hair removal (shaving or waxing) for at least 10 to 14 days post-peel.
